We are looking for a senior level Executive Assistant to support the Commissioner of Public Services.  This is a dynamic role that is the first point of contact for the Commissioner’s office.  In this role the Executive Assistant will perform a variety of executive administrative support services at a senior level to ensure efficient and professional management of the Commissioner’s office.

This dynamic role requires an individual who is energetic, detail orientated, has exceptional planning and organizational skills, and can multi-task with the ability to be flexible and meet stringent deadlines.  In addition this position represents the Commissioner’s office by communicating and interacting with senior administration, elected officials, all levels of government, outside agencies, internal staff and the public.  If you enjoy working in a high paced environment while maintaining multiple priorities in a professional manner and possess exceptional inter-personal and advanced skill and knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite we want to hear from you!

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Two (2) year diploma from a recognized technical institute in business administration or office administration;

  • Seven (7) years of directly job-related work experience, including minimum of two (2) years in a senior administrative capacity;

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Outlook e-mail system;

  • An equivalent combination of management approved training and experience may be considered.
