• Completion of Grade 12 plus experience in customer service and in working with the public, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Sound knowledge of the dog licensing fee schedules.
• Some knowledge of the dog licensing bylaw and related regulations.
• Ability to deal courteously with the public and provide information and responses to questions.
• Ability to prepare simple records and receipts, to make simple mathematical calculations and to handle cash.
• Ability to walk long distances and work outside in any type of weather conditions.
• Must successfully pass and maintain a police and criminal record check.
• Valid Class 5 Drivers’ License for the Province of British Columbia.
