Description
Reporting to the Director of Parks, Recreation and Culture, the successful candidate will provide leadership and direction to an innovative program team to ensure the development, marketing and maintenance of community recreation programs encompassing arena, aquatics, golf, tennis, food services, indoor turf, daycare, community centres, arts and culture and other programs serving citizens of all ages.
While the emphasis of this position is on program design, promotion and administration, the incumbent will have considerable input on departmental policy and administrative matters.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have an undergraduate degree in Recreation, Physical Education or a closely related field with a minimum of five years of related experience in a senior level position in a municipal recreation program.
