Description
The Transportation Association of Canada (TAC) has provided Library, or Transportation Information Services (TIS), to TAC members for almost 60 years. Recently the TIS has moved to new means of sharing information:  through TAC’s website, the TIS online databases’ redesigned search interface, and social media.

This webinar will introduce users to the information channels provided by TIS, and demonstrate the new features of the Library Catalogue Search Interface.

Presenter

Glenn Cole, Manager, Technical Information Services, Transportation Association of Canada 
Glenn has managed the Technical Information Services since 2002.  He has worked in various libraries including an aerospace engineering library of the Canadian Air Force, and the Periodicals Section of the National Library of Canada.  As a ‘solo librarian’ in the TIS, he handles all aspects of the Library’s operation from shelving books to participating in international information exchanges.
