SYSTEMS ANALYST/PROJECT LEADER (CLASS)

Responsible for:
The Systems Analyst/Project Leader (CLASS) supports City’s internal client departments in the use of ActiveNetwork’s CLASS system. The incumbent, in collaboration with the solution vendor, will provide technical system support, system administration, problem management and resolution, performance optimization, application of system patches/fixes and new releases, design and develop reports, maintain documentation, and provide second-level user support. In collaboration with internal client departments, assess and document functional requirements, implement system processes, procedures and functionality, carryout business analysis and end-user training, manage projects and write reports.
Qualifications and experience:
- University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or suitable equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in the field of Information Systems including 2 years' of systems analysis and project management responsibilities
- Experience in the implementation and maintenance of automated systems
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of municipal program registration, facility booking and membership management is preferred
- Knowledge of Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliance requirements
- Experience working with payment processing systems within a PCI compliant environment
- Experience supporting departments and solutions which require immediate attention during peak business periods and after hours
- Experience with the administration and development of applications built in VB6
- Experience working with Oracle databases, and writing SQL scripts
- Experience in application support including liaising with internal clients and external consultants
- Experience working with web applications, payment processing and IVR
- Knowledge of PMBok or PMP designation an asset
