The successful candidate will possess strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, and have a passion to work with newcomers. Essential skills include excellent presentation and interpersonal skills, a strong ability to multi-task and maintain a complex schedule, proven ability to maintain effective working relationships with volunteers and community partners, staff and public while demonstrating initiative, a positive attitude and the ability to create a welcoming environment.
The Community Services Assistant 3 position requires completion of grade 12 and courses taken from a recognized post secondary institution, supplemented by 2 years related experience, including supervision. Willingness to drive a 20 person bus will be required. Sound knowledge of Microsoft Programs is also required. Experience working with newcomers is an asset.
