The City of Prince Albert invites applications for the permanent position of Parks Manager in the Community Services Department. Reporting to the Director of Community Services the successful candidate will be responsible for the overall coordination, supervision and safe and efficient maintenance of all city parks.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare capital and operating budgets for the division

  • Supervision of the Assistant Parks Manager and staff administration

  • Landscape design

  • Contract management

  • Inventory and Asset management

  • Professional and community committee involvement

Requirements
  • Degree or Diploma in Horticulture or a related discipline

  • 5 years’ management experience in a municipal environment
