Reporting directly to the Recreation Coordinator, Operations this role is responsible for maintaining the ice (if applicable), Class "A" swimming pools (if applicable), building, grounds, and equipment at various Town of Caledon Recreation facilities.
The Ideal Candidate
We are seeking a versatile facilities professional with a minimum of three (3) years related experience in arenas (if applicable), pools (if applicable) and/or recreation centre. The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas: working with the maintenance of arena refrigeration systems and ice preparation, operation and maintenance of ice resurfacing and related equipment (if applicable), operation/maintenance of swimming pool filtration systems and general swimming pool maintenance operations, (if applicable) some supervisory experience, maintenance operation of gas powered mechanical equipment.
Satisfactory passing of a vulnerable sector check will be required of any successful candidate(s) for this position.
