The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a team of Crime Analysts, and planning and organizing work assignments. You would be required to assist the Crime Analyst Manager in providing guidance, direction, mentorship and support to the crime analysts, as well as with project design and project planning. In addition, you will assist with the development and implementation of qualitative and quantitative analytical performance measures. The Crime Analyst Supervisor will. also prepare analytical reports including timelines, phone analysis, association charts, suspect lists, maps and other graphic representation of criminal activity.
Qualified applicants must have completion of a university degree in a related discipline including coursework in applied research and statistics. Minimum of five years related experience is required including a minimum of two years supervisory experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. You must have successfully passed the EDCAS selection process, and obtain and maintain the relevant level of security clearance throughout employment with the Surrey RCMP.
