The applicant must be a Professional Engineer registered in the Province of Ontario with a Degree in Civil Engineering, having a minimum of 5 years of recent related experience including: budget preparation and management as well as oversight and mentoring of staff (union and non-union), effective management skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a commitment to team development, mentoring, coaching, strong work ethic and customer service orientation, and related experience in design, construction and maintenance, working knowledge of all relevant legislation, methods, practices, techniques and computer proficiency. Knowledge and application of contemporary, innovative design approaches would be advantageous.
