In this role, you will be responsible for the leadership of Telecommunications Operators and Switchboard Operators to ensure that the needs of our clients are met in a professional and efficient manner. Under the general direction of the Operational Communications Centre Manager, you will implement strategies and manage service level standards, liaise with clients and internal departments, perform scheduling of shifts, meet deadlines and assist other staff in the performance of their duties.
This position requires an analytical individual who is a proactive, critical thinker with a strong knowledge of labour relations and has a good understanding of Change Management and performance management concepts. You must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to interact/build relationships with all levels of staff and an aptitude for bringing people together.
The minimum requirement for this position is a diploma in a management related field. Five years of progressively responsible experience within an Operational Communications Centre is required. This position would require working rotating shifts, including holidays and weekends. The relevant level of RCMP security clearance is also required.
