Description
The City of New Westminster is looking for two energetic, self-directed, reliable individuals to look after janitorial duties at one of the cities outdoor pools.  Duties will include vacuuming, hosing and scrubbing floors using a floor machine, emptying garbage, cleaning washrooms, sinks, toilets, urinals, mirrors, cubicles, windows and staff areas, re-stocking supplies, and other job related duties as assigned.

Requirements

The hours of work include 3-4 morning shifts 12-20 hours per week including weekdays, weekends and statutory holidays.  The successful candidate must be flexible as days may vary from week to week and must be available for the entire term June 13 – September 5, 2016.

 

Consideration will be given to previous cleaning experience and BSW course.  This position requires the successful applicant to successfully pass and maintain a Police Information Check.
