The Town of High River is embarking upon an ambitious and comprehensive program to enhance our local economy. We are looking to fill a unique three-year term with a dynamic individual who is an extremely creative, out-of-the box thinker who can work with us to create a High River that is doing it better, being innovative, and daring to be different!
We are seeking a proven results-oriented professional, who will report directly to the CAO, and will be given considerable latitude to take control of Economic Development in High River and mold it for both immediate and longer term success. Foundational work has been started with Council endorsed strategic priorities, reports addressing branding, marketing and economic opportunities. Superior tact, conflict resolution and negotiating skills along with strong, demonstrated business acumen are critical success factors.
For the right candidate, we are prepared to be flexible to meet your needs in engaging with the Town for this initial three-year term.
