As the Supervisor of Quartermaster Stores, some of your duties will include:
- Developing Bid Opportunities to establish acquisition of goods and services for direct open market purchases
- Managing and coordinating all activities related to the inventory process
- Supervising Quartermaster Stores personnel
- Responsible for the financial accountability of the Unit and other duties
- Responsible for the oversight of the asset management for the Winnipeg Police Service
- Other duties as assigned
Your experience includes:
- Grade 12 diploma, GED Certificate, or equivalent
- Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) Certificate
- OR Purchasing Management Association of Canada (PMAC) Certificate in Purchasing
- OR Industrial Supervision Certificate and 24 months’ demonstrated experience in contract administration, contract preparation, bid analysis and tender / quotation preparation
- 24 months’ prior related work experience, including supervisory experience
- Human Resource Management Certificate / training or equivalent demonstrated experience
Requirements include:
- 18 years of age
- Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Valid full Manitoba Class 5 Driver’s Licence
- Ability to meet and maintain the standards of a Winnipeg Police Service security check / background investigation and required police clearances
- No involvement in any criminal activity within the last two years (including illegal drugs)
- No criminal record for which a Pardon has not been granted
