Leading the Parks Division, the Senior Manager is a personable, enthusiastic, positive professional who embodies service excellence and has demonstrated success in the development of progressive parks policies, programs and initiatives.
Reporting to the Director of Parks and Recreation, the Senior Manager provides leadership in stakeholder consultation; park planning and design; construction and maintenance; and urban forestry, horticulture and natural areas.
Requirements
Qualified candidates will have a university degree in a parks related discipline, have eight to ten years progressively more responsible management and leadership experience, and possess a balance of consensus, team building and technical skills.
