FUNCTION:

 

To operate and maintain the Flagstaff County Parks; Fish Lake Campground, Diplomat Trout Pond and the Daysland Campground and other County owned property.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

 

ALL AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY shall be accountable to Flagstaff County’s Business and Strategic Plan.

 

  1. General maintenance at the Flagstaff County Campgrounds.

  2. Monitor water quality at Fish Lake.

  3. Collect camping fees.

  4. Maintain Flagstaff County grader shed yards and tank loader sites.

  5. General maintenance of vehicles and equipment

  6. Maintain an organized, tidy and safe work environment.

  7. Follow all safety guidelines and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

  8. Responsible for ensuring compliance with Flagstaff County policies, the Healthy and Safety Program and the Human Resources guidelines and procedures.

  9. Such other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time by the Supervisor.

Requirements

 

  1. Valid Class 5 Drivers License and clean drivers’ abstract.

  2. Ability to work individually and in a group.

  3. Ability to communicate with the public.

  4. Ability to delegate tasks to a small crew.

  5. Ability to operate small tools and equipment.

  6. Experience with landscaping, building and equipment maintenance.

  7. Ability to work some (long) weekends.

Salary & Benefits
