As the Trades Foreman:

You will use your excellent leadership and supervisory skills to oversee the operations of a team of Heavy Duty, Commercial Transport, and Automotive Mechanics.

You are respectful and utilize your awareness of other cultures in supervising a diverse workforce.

You are someone who values providing service to customers.

You are hands-on and use your problem solving skills to work with a variety of equipment including but not limited to heavy duty equipment, commercial transport vehicles, light motor vehicles some of which are late model.

You work well under demanding timelines and strive to meet quality expectations.

You lead by example and will train, coach and mentor less experienced staff.

You are proficient in the use of computer office applications and diagnostic equipment.
Applicants under consideration will have:
-
completed Grade 12 or GED combined with a Heavy Duty or Commercial Transport Trades Qualification
-
completion of a supervisory course accredited by post-secondary institution
-
considerable experience and training as a qualified Trades Mechanic including supervision of staff
-
a valid Class 3 BC Driver’s License or out of province equivalent and a safe driving record
