In this role, you will direct overall day to day operations ensuring performance and service levels are met. This position is responsible for the design, installation, maintenance and operations of Information Technology while providing in-depth technical expertise for strategic, tactical and operational initiatives. You would provide senior management with cost & benefit analysis on proposed projects and develop plans for the overall system needs.
You will need to be an individual with strong leadership, communication, planning and organization skills. Ideally, you would have knowledge of standard RCMP computer software and systems as well as operating procedures.
The minimum requirement for this position is a University degree or diploma in a related discipline, as well as 10 years directly related management experience. A combination of education and experience may be considered.
You must be able to obtain and maintain the relevant level of security clearance throughout employment with the Surrey RCMP.
