- You will have experience in various facets of civil engineering, focused on municipal water, sewer, drainage and transportation design and construction projects.
- You will have a strong working knowledge and usage of AutoCAD and Civil3D as we continue to build our internal design team.
- You are a self-starter who can make sound decisions as you handle multiple projects with ambitious timelines.
- Your excellent communication and public relations skills will be critical as you engage with many stakeholders, including developers, consultants, internal staff, external organizations and agencies and the public
- Your exceptional organizational skills will aid you in handling multiple transportation projects with ambitious timelines.
- You will feel comfortable wearing multiple hats and switching gears to constantly changing priorities.

The successful applicant will have:
- Completed of a two-year diploma in a discipline of Engineering Technology relevant to the position from a recognized post-secondary institution.
- Five (5) years engineering experience with a demonstrated record of technical knowledge, skills and ability and supervisory experience in the relevant areas of engineering and/or equivalent combination of training and experience and must have technical expertise applicable to the specific role.
- Experience with AutoCAD and Civil3D is a strong asset
- A valid BC Driver’s License with a safe driving record is required.
