Community Service Assistant 2 will work as a one to one support worker in Preschool Programs. Working as part of a team, the Community Service Assistants will assist in the delivery of recreation services within Parks, Recreation & Culture Department.
The main responsibility of the position will be providing one to one support for children with disabilities.
This position is best suited to energetic, creative individuals who enjoy working with people in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills are required. A demonstrated passion for promoting and encouraging inclusion and providing support is essential. Creativity and ability to work both independently and part of a team are inherent to the position.
Completion of Grade 12 supplemented by 1 year of office experience or an equivalent acceptable combination of training and experience.
Successful candidates will be selected based on their education, experience and skills related to the job.
Hourly wage without benefits.
