- Supervising the day-to-day activities of the aquatic and maintenance staff;
- Hiring, training, disciplining, and scheduling of aquatic staff;
- Ensuring pool and beach operations comply with mandatory Ministry of Health/Porcupine Health Unit requirements;
- Planning, marketing/advertising, and implementing of aquatic related programs and special events;
- Leading the Ongoing implementation of on-line registration for aquatic related programs;
- Drafting and monitoring of program budget, revenues and expenditures;
- Completing office administration duties as required;
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Two-year post secondary diploma relating to Recreation, Leisure Services, Aquatics, Fitness, Health Promotion, Office/Business Administration, or related field;
- Red Cross and Lifesaving Instructor Trainee required;
- Three years previous experience in aquatics required
- Supervisory experience required;
- Certified Pool Operator preferred;
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and public relations skills;
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and Power Point;
- Fluency in both official languages (French and English) is a definite asset;
- Valid Ontario Driver’s License; and
- Current and clear Criminal Background Check required.
