The Energy Management Coordinator is responsible for developing a Sustainable Energy Management Program, including gathering energy management-related information and analyzing it to identify opportunities and priorities. Once the program is developed, the incumbent is responsible for building the program, implementing it and maintaining it.
The successful applicant will possess the following qualifications:
- Registered Professional Engineer or Registered Engineering Technologist or Certified Energy Manager;
- Minimum five years experience in industrial process and in the operation, maintenance and management of electrical and lighting systems or mechanical systems;
- Previous supervisory experience;
- Knowledge of energy efficient technologies and program development;
- Demonstrated experience writing details reports and performing financial/statistical analysis;
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills; and
- Valid Class 5 BC Driver's Licence.
